JPMorgan plans capped buffered enhanced notes tied to MSCI EAFE index

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 16 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% capped buffered enhanced participation equity notes due Nov. 22, 2017 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any gain in the index, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,277.50 to $1,326.25 for each $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Sept. 17 and settle on Sept. 24.
The Cusip number is 48125U4P4.
