New Issue: Scotiabank prices $10 million index participation notes on index basket

Madison, Wis., March 21 - Bank of Nova Scotia priced $10 million of index participation notes due March 24, 2022 tied to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 55% weight, the MSCI EAFE index with a 30% weight and the Russell 2000 index with a 15% weight.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 102.2% times any basket gain.
If the basket falls, the payout will be par.
