New Issue: Barclays prices $2.36 million buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Madison, Wis., Aug. 28 - Barclays Bank plc priced $2.36 million of 0% buffered notes due Sept. 1, 2016 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the index, up to a maximum payment of $1,359 for each $1,000 principal amount. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for every 1% that it declines beyond 20%.
Barclays is the underwriter.
