New Issue: Barclays prices $4.08 million leveraged buffered notes on MSCI EAFE

Chicago, May 6 - Barclays Bank plc priced $4.08 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Oct. 7, 2014 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain, up to a maximum payment of $1,147 per $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 12.5% and will lose 1.1429% for each 1% for any decline beyond 12.5%.
Barclays is the underwriter.
