New Issue: Scotiabank prices $8.85 million capped enhanced participation notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, March 5 - Bank of Nova Scotia priced $8.85 million of 0% series A capped enhanced participation notes due April 6, 2015 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, up to a maximum payment of $1,334.50 per $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. is the underwriter with Goldman Sachs & Co. as dealer.
