By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 27 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% buffered index-linked digital notes tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to mature 18 months after issue.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount, which is expected to be $1,170 and will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for every 1% decline beyond the 20% buffer.

The Cusip is 38143UU74.
