New Issue: RBC prices $3.52 million barrier booster notes linked to MSCI EAFE index

Tacoma, Wash., March 13 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $3.52 million of 0% barrier booster notes due July 2, 2029 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the index return and 54%.

If the final index level is less than the initial index level but is not less than the barrier level, 70% of the initial index level, the payout will be par.

If the final index level is less than the barrier level, investors lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines from its initial level.
