New Issue: Scotiabank prices $910,000 capped buffered enhanced participation notes tied to MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 20 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $910,000 of 0% capped buffered enhanced participation notes due May 30, 2025 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the index return, subject to a maximum payout of $1,324.40 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.

If the final index level is less than or equal to the initial level but not by more than 17.5%, the payout will be par.

If the final index level is less than the initial level by more than 17.5%, investors will lose 1.2121% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 17.5%.
