New Issue: RBC prices $4.21 million leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE index
Chicago, Aug. 14 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $4.21 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Sept. 26, 2025 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the gain, subject to a maximum settlement amount of $1,300 for each $1,000 principal amount. Investors will receive par if the index falls by 17.5% or less and lose 1.2121% for every 1% decline in the index beyond 17.5%.
