New Issue: Scotia sells $5.83 million contingent buffer digital notes on MSCI EAFE

Columbus, Ohio, March 30 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $5.83 million of 0% contingent buffer digital notes due March 21, 2025 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final index level is greater than or equal to the buffer level, 82.5% of the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 17.56%.
If the final index level is less than the buffer level, investors will lose 1.2121% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 17.5% of the initial index level.
