New Issue: RBC prices $991,000 digital notes due 2023 tied to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, Aug. 12 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $991,000 of 0% digital notes due Sept. 20, 2023 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above its 90% threshold, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,120.30 per $1,000 principal amount.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
