New Issue: Citigroup sells $1.66 million buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

New York, Aug. 31 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1.66 million of 0% buffered notes due Sept. 28, 2021 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return, capped at $1,048 for each $1,000.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% per 1% drop beyond 20%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.
