Hain Capital Holdings buys $2.5 million claim against former GM

Pittsburgh, March 29 - Hain Capital Holdings, Ltd. bought a $2.5 million claim against Motors Liquidation Co., according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Hain bought the claim from Douglas Scott Clinger & Sherri Clinger, on behalf of themselves and minor children Scott Lukas Clinger & Whitney Ashton Clinger.
Motors Liquidation was formerly General Motors, a Detroit-based automaker that filed for bankruptcy on June 1, 2009. The new General Motors Corp. emerged from Chapter 11 on July 10, 2009, and Motors Liquidation's Chapter 11 case number is 09-50026.
