San Francisco plans $93.9 million certificates of participation sale

New York, Oct. 31 - The City and County San Francisco is set to price $93.9 million of series 2011 refunding certificates of participation on Wednesday, said a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $25.21 million of series 2011A Moscone South Project refunding COPs and $68.69 million of series 2011B Moscone North Project refunding COPs. The maturity dates have not been set.

The certificates (Aa3/AA-/A+) will be sold competitively with Public Financial Management Inc. and Backstrom McCarley Berry & Co. LLC as the financial advisers.

Proceeds will be used to refund the city's series 2002 George R. Moscone Convention Center lease revenue refunding bonds and series 2004 George R. Moscone Convention Center lease revenue refunding bonds.
