Morgan Stanley plans autocallable jump notes due 2022 on S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 7 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% jump notes with autocallable feature due Feb. 3, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus an early redemption premium of 10% per year if the index closes at or above the initial level on any annual determination date.

If the index finishes at or above its initial value, the payout at maturity will be par plus 30%.

If the index declines by up to 35%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline from the initial level.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Jan. 31.

The Cusip number is 61768DWX9.
