By Reshmi Basu

New York, Jan. 16 - Morgan Stanley plans to reopen its Mexican peso-denominated offering of fixed-rate senior bearer notes due Dec. 28, 2015 to add Ps. 1.19 billion on Wednesday, according to a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On Dec. 27, 2005, the firm sold Ps. 1.25 billion of the original notes with an interest rate of 8.44%. On Oct. 4, 2006, the firm reopened the issue to add Ps. 1 billion. The total size of the issue now stands at Ps. 2.25 billion.

The additional notes will bring the size of the deal to Ps. 3.44 billion.
