New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $4.95 million buffered participation securities tied to ETF

New York, Feb. 1 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $4.95 million of 0% buffered participation securities due July 6, 2022 linked to the Financial Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any fund gain capped at par plus 11%.

Investors will receive par if the fund declines by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% fund decline beyond 10%.
