Fitch gives F1+ to MedAmerica Health, Ohio, bonds

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a short-term rating of F1+ to MedAmerica Health System based on its self-liquidity regarding the issuance of an unconditional tender offer for its 2003A and 2003B Montgomery County, Ohio, (MedAmerica Health Systems - Miami Valley Hospital) auction-rate revenue bonds.

Each series of bonds has $56,775,000 outstanding. The tender offer is to buy the bonds at par on Nov. 20, 2008.

In addition, Fitch said it affirmed the AA- long-term rating on all of MedAmerica's outstanding debt.

The outlook is stable.
