Monitor Co. Group gets approval for name change following asset sale

Wilmington, Del., April 11 - Monitor Co. Group LP received approval for changing the name of the company and its debtor affiliates, according to an Apri 11 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, the company completed the sale of substantially all of its assets to Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Under the order, Monitor Co. Group LP will be MCG LP.

Seventeen affiliates also changed their names.

Monitor, a Cambridge, Mass.-based strategy consulting firm, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 7. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-13042.
