Molecular Insight net loss grows to $3.72 million in February

Pittsburgh, March 16 - Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. reported a $3.72 million net loss for February on $95,727 in grant revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In comparison, Molecular Insight posted a $2.64 million net loss for January on $38,493 in grant revenue.

The company had $10.66 million in cash and cash equivalents at Feb. 28, down from $12.91 million at the end of January.

Molecular Insight, a Cambridge, Mass.-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on molecular medicine, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 9 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. The Chapter 11 case number is 10-23355.
