Modine will use existing credit facility to buy Scott Springfield

Chicago, Feb. 26 – Modine Manufacturing Co. announced that Modine Manufacturing (Canada) Ltd. will use an existing credit facility and cash to fund the $191 million acquisition of Scott Springfield Manufacturing, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The consideration will be paid in Canadian dollars.

Barclays advised Modine. Angle Advisors advised Scott Springfield.

Modine is based in Racine, Wis. It makes thermal management systems and components used in vehicles, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, off-highway and industrial equipment and refrigeration systems. Scott Springfield is a manufacturer of air handling units.
