Kuwait's Mobile Telecommunications may sell bonds

New York, April 6 - Kuwait's Mobile Telecommunications Co. may sell bonds, according to a market source.

The proceeds from the sale would be used for its $3.36 billion acquisition of mobile phone businesses in Africa.

On March 29, the company said it had agreed to buy Celtel International, a communications network company with major interests across Africa.
