MMC Precision exclusivity extension hearing adjourned to July 27

Portland, Ore., July 21 - MMC Precision Holdings Corp.'s hearing on its motion for approval of a one-month extension to its exclusive periods to file a plan of reorganization and solicit votes on the plan was adjourned to July 27 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, according to a source familiar with the case.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Tuesday.

As previously reported, the company wants to extend its exclusive plan-filing period to Aug. 22 from July 22 and the solicitation period to Oct. 22 from Sept. 22.

Morton, Ill.-based MMC manufactures highly engineered metal components and subassemblies. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 22. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10998.
