By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 14 – The Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission plans to refund $79,785,000 of its Iatan 2 Project series 2006A and 2009A power project revenue bonds, according to a notice.

The 2006A bonds that are tentatively part of the planned refunding include $23,955,000 of 4.5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2036.

The 2009A bonds that are tentatively part of the planned refunding include $55.83 million of 6% bonds due Jan. 1, 2039.

The bonds would be redeemed Jan. 1, 2019 at par plus accrued interest.

The planned refunding is contingent upon the utility commission’s issuance of series 2015A bonds.
