Missouri Electric Utility set to price $53.96 million bonds Wednesday

Tupelo, Miss., Aug. 7 - The Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility plans to sell $53.96 million in power revenue bonds on Wednesday, according to a source with the issuer.

The bonds (Baa1/BBB-/) will price through a negotiated sale managed by Wachovia Bank, NA.

The Columbia, Mo.-based utility operates 58 consumer-owned municipal and cooperative electric systems in the state.
