Mississippi Hospital Equipment prepares to sell $70 million bonds for Forrest County hospital

New York, Oct. 14 - The Mississippi Hospital Equipment and Facilities Authority plans to price $70 million in series 2010 revenue bonds for Forrest County General Hospital, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes series 2010A tax-exempt bonds and series 2010B Build America Bonds. The breakdown of the tranches was not available Thursday.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to construct additions and improvements to the hospital.

Based in Jackson, Miss., the authority provides funding to hospitals and health care facilities throughout the state. The hospital is located in Hattiesburg, Miss.
