Appleton Papers on road with $350 million two-part deal, to price June 2

St. Louis, May 24 - Appleton Papers Inc. has a roadshow underway for a combined $350 million of bonds in two Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings, a market source said.

Pricing is expected to take place on June 2.

The offering includes $150 million of seven-year senior notes (B2/BB-) and $200 million of 10-year senior subordinated notes (B3/B+).

Bear Stearns & Co. and UBS Investment Bank are the underwriters.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt.

Appleton Papers is an Appleton, Wis.-based carbonless paper and printing products company.
