Mine Reclamation evaluating sale options, sees contract in near future

Pittsburgh, Jan. 2 - Mine Reclamation, LLC continues to evaluate its options for selling its primary assets and believes it will enter into a contract to sell its assets in the near future, according to a status report filed Jan. 2 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

The company said it is discussing an asset sale with several parties.

A status conference is scheduled for Jan. 15.

Mine Reclamation is an Ontario, Calif.-based developer of the Eagle Mountain landfill project. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 30, 2011 under case number 11-43596.
