New Issue: Miller Petroleum sells $5.02 million of stock via private placement

Knoxville, Tenn., April 1 - Miller Petroleum, Inc. completed a $5.02 million private placement of shares on April 1, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal priced March 26.
The company sold 1,433,429 common shares at $3.50 apiece.
Investors also received warrants for 716,716 shares, which are exercisable at $5.28 for five years.
The oil and natural gas producer is based in Huntsville, Tenn.
