Milacron posts $2.74 million net operating loss for April

Portland, Ore., May 21 - Milacron, Inc. reported a $2.74 million net operating loss for April on $18.95 million in total sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

The figures compare with a $566,000 net operating loss for March on $22.26 million in total sales.

The net loss for the month was $10.41 million, compared with a net loss of $9.61 million for March.

The company had $4.93 million in cash and cash equivalents at April 30, compared with $4.67 million at the end of March.

Milacron, a Cincinnati-based supplier of plastics-processing technologies and industrial fluids, filed for bankruptcy on March 10. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-11235.
