Posey County, Ind., organizes $1.26 billion Midwest Fertilizer bonds

New York, June 21 - Posey County, Ind., is set to price $1,259,000,000 of series 2013A economic development revenue bonds for the Midwest Fertilizer Corp., according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (/A-1+/) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Guggenheim Securities LLC and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. as the senior managers.

The bonds are due July 1, 2046.

Proceeds will be used to finance the construction, acquisition, equipment and improvement of a nitrogen fertilizer plant in Posey County.
