Miami-Dade County School Board, Fla., defeases its 2006A, 2006B COPs

Norfolk, Va., Nov. 25 – The Miami-Dade County School Board, Fla., defeased its series 2006A and 2006B certificates of participation, according to two notices.

The following 2006A bonds will be redeemed on Nov. 1, 2016:

• $6.74 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2017;

• $7,085,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2018;

• $7.45 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2019;

• $7.83 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2020;

• $8,235,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2022;

• $4,925,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2023;

• $2.65 million of 4.375% bonds due Nov. 1, 2023;

• $1.51 million of 4.25% bonds due Nov. 1, 2023;

• $9,535,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2024;

• $10,025,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2025;

• $10.54 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2026; and

• $61,385,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2031.

The following 2006B bonds will be redeemed on Nov. 1, 2016:

• $6,315,000 of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2017;

• $800,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2017;

• $7.41 million of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2018;

• $7,715,000 of 4.125% bonds due Nov. 1, 2019;

• $8.08 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2020;

• $8.49 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2021;

• $8.93 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2022;

• $9,375,000 of 4.75% bonds due Nov. 1, 2023;

• $9.83 million of 4.75% bonds due Nov. 1, 2024;

• $10.32 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2025;

• $10.85 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2026;

• $6,115,000 of 4.5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2031; and

• $57 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2031.
