Miami-Dade County Health Facilities, Fla., to convert $55 million series 2006A hospital revenue bonds

New York, April 1 - The Miami-Dade County Health Facilities Authority in Florida plans to convert $55 million in series 2006A hospital revenue bonds sold for the Miami Children's Hospital project, a conversion notice said Tuesday.

The bonds will be converted to a long-term rate period from an auction-rate securities period.

The bonds, first issued Dec. 21, 2006, are due Aug. 1, 2046.

The exact conversion date, according to the conversion notice, has not been set, but it is anticipated the conversion will take place in April.
