Moody's rates University of Miami bonds A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to the University of Miami's $340 million of series 2008 A and B revenue bonds to be issued through the Miami-Dade County Educational Facilities Authority.

The series 2008B bonds are taxable, and Moody's said it expects to assign a global scale rating to the taxable debt.

The outlook is stable.

Sale of the bonds is expected on April 2.
