MF Global adds three new debtors to Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases

Pittsburgh, Dec. 21 - MF Global Holdings Ltd. Chapter 11 trustee Louis J. Freeh asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to apply orders made in MF Global Holdings' Chapter 11 cases to three new debtors, according to a Wednesday court filing.

The new debtors are MF Global Capital LLC, MF Global FX Clear LLC and MF Global Market Services LLC.

The trustee said the new debtors joined the bankruptcy case on Dec. 21.

The new cases will be jointly administered with those of the initial MF Global debtors, according to a separate court filing.

MF Global Holdings, a commodity and derivatives broker based in New York, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 31. Its Chapter 11 case number is 11-15059.
