Apogent $250 million 10-year notes talked at 6½%-6¾%, pricing Thursday

St. Louis, May 20 - Price talk of 6½%-6¾% emerged Tuesday on Apogent Technologies Inc.'s upcoming sale of $250 million 10-year senior subordinated notes (Ba2/BB+), according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price on Thursday, the source added.

Lehman Brothers is the bookrunner.

The Rule 144A are non-callable for five years

Proceeds will be used to help repurchase up to 15 million shares.

Portsmouth, N.H. company manufactures clinical diagnostic and life science research products.
