New York, March 20 - Mexico's Ministry of Finance announced the results of this week's government securities auction.
The 28-day Cetes bills were priced to yield 7.31%. Bids ranged from 7.25% to 7.33%. Of the Ps. 16.086 billion bids tendered, Ps. 4.5 billion bids were accepted. The previous yield on the 28-day bills was 7.37%.
The 91-day Cetes bills were priced to yield 7.35%. Bids ranged from 7.30% to 7.37%. Of the Ps. 19.949 billion bids tendered, Ps. 6 billion bids were accepted. Last week's yield on the 91-day bills was 7.41%.
The 182-day Cetes bills were priced to yield 7.50%. Bids ranged from 7.38% to 7.47%. Of the Ps. 14.555 billion bids tendered, Ps. 5.4 billion bids were accepted. The previous yield on the 175-day bills was 7.50%.
Meanwhile the 8% bonos 3A due 2008 were priced at 100.87231 to yield 7.64%. Of the Ps. 8.110 billion bids tendered, Ps. 3.1 billion bids were accepted. The minimum and maximum bid was 100.87231. The previous issue priced at 100.9482 to yield 7.62%.
The 9% bonos 7A due 2012 priced at 104.10393 to yield 8.20%. The minimum and maximum bid was 104.10393. Of Ps. 5.72 billion bids tendered, Ps. 3 billion was accepted. The previous issue priced at 105.77 to yield 7.90%.
