Mexico announces results of government auction

New York, Sept. 27 - Mexico's Ministry of Finance announced the results of this week's government securities auction.

The 28-day Cetes bills were priced to yield 9.02%. Bids ranged from 8.99% to 9.52%. Of the Ps. 16 billion bids tendered, Ps. 4 billion bids were accepted. Last week, the yield on the 28-day bills was 9.06%.

The 91-day Cetes bills were priced to yield 9.03%. Bids ranged from 9% to 9.44%. Of the Ps. 27 billion bids tendered, Ps. 5.5 billion bids were accepted. Last week, the yield on the 91-day bills was 8.97%.

The 182-day Cetes bills were priced at 8.79%. Bids ranged from 8.70% to 9.32%. Of the Ps. 13.4 billion bids tendered, Ps. 4.8 billion bids were accepted. Last week, the yield on the 182-day bills was 8.67%.

The 336-day Cetes bills were priced at 8.67%. Bids ranged from 8.59% to 8.72%. Of Ps. 13.8 billion bids tendered, Ps. 5 billion bids were accepted.

Meanwhile the 9.69% Bondes 182 with a term of 1,708 days priced at 99.58681. Bids ranged from 99.177 to 99.58681. Of Ps. 1.4 billion bids tendered, Ps. 800 million were accepted. Last week the bond priced at 99.60506.

The 10% Bonos 20A bond with a 7,007 day term priced at 110.5573 to yield 8.85%. The bids ranged from 100.25001 to 111.05670. Of Ps. 8.5 billion bids tendered, Ps. 2 billion were accepted. Last week, the issue priced at 107.26464 to yield 9.19%.
