Mexichem's $350 million 10-year notes talked at 8½% area, to price Wednesday or Thursday

Atlanta, Oct. 27 - Mexichem set price talk for its $350 million offering of 10-year unsecured notes (Ba1) at the 8½% area, according to an informed source.

Pricing is expected Wednesday or Thursday.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is the bookrunner for the notes.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures and potential acquisitions.

Mexichem is a Tlalnepantla, Mexico-based producer of PVC resins, pipes and related products.
