Metso gets tenders for €205.4 million of 2.75% notes via Nordea Bank

Chicago, June 8 – Nordea Bank AB (publ) accepted tenders for €205,039,000 of the €400 million of 2.75% notes due Oct. 4, 2019 issued by Metso Corp.

The purchase price will be €1,067.23 for each €1,000 principal amount, according to a company update on Thursday.

The tender offer ran from May 30 until 11 a.m. ET on June 7.

Holders also will receive accrued interest to but excluding the settlement date of June 12.

As previously announced, pricing was set using a fixed purchase yield of negative 0.15% assuming a settlement date of June 12.

Metso planned to price new euro-denominated notes under its €1.5 billion of euro medium-term note program.

The tender was contingent on the issue of the new notes.

The issuer is a Helsinki, Finland-based supplier of process industry machinery.
