New Issue: Metropolitan Transportation, N.Y., sells $333.92 million revenue bonds

New York, July 3 - The Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York sold $333.92 million of series 2013D transportation revenue bonds, according to a pricing sheet. The deal was downsized from $350 million.

The bonds (A2//A) were sold through senior managers RBC Capital Markets LLC and M.R. Beal & Co.

The bonds are due 2013 to 2033 with term bonds due in 2038, 2041 and 2043. The serial coupons range from 2% to 5.25% with 0.2% to 4.45% yields. The 2038 bonds have a 5% coupon to yield 4.62%. The 2041 bonds have a 4.75% coupon to yield 4.82%, and the 2043 bonds have a 5% coupon to yield 4.73%.

Proceeds will be used to refinance commercial paper initially issued to finance commuter and transit projects.
