New Issue: Metropolitan District of Hartford, Conn., sells $113.5 million of BANs

New York, Jan. 20 – The Metropolitan District of Hartford County, Conn., sold $113.5 million of series 2016 general obligation bond anticipation notes, according to a pricing sheet.

The notes are due Dec. 1, 2016 and bear interest at 2% to yield 0.38%.

The notes were sold competitively, but the issuer did not respond to requests for the winning bidder Wednesday.

Proceeds will be used to finance certain water, sewer and public improvement projects.
