Hartford County Metropolitan District, Conn., to sell $55 million debt

New York, June 13 – The Metropolitan District of Hartford County, Conn., is set to price $55 million of series 2014 general obligation bond anticipation notes on Thursday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (Aa1/AA+/) will be sold competitively with First Southwest Co. as the financial adviser.

The deal includes $15 million of series 2014E notes and $40 million of series 2014F notes.

The 2014E notes are due March 23, 2015, and the 2014F notes are due Dec. 5, 2014.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements, including to water, sewer and other public facilities.
