Moody's assigns Metropolis Compania debt B3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a provisional B3 long-term global, local and foreign currency debt ratings to Metropolis Compania Financiera SA's debt program of ARS 100 million or its equivalent in other currencies.

The first takedown under the program up to ARS 20 million, which will be due in 365 days, was also rated B3.

On the national scale, Moody's rated the program A3.ar in local and foreign currency and assigned an A3.ar to the first takedown.

Moody's said that the local currency senior unsecured debt rating derives from Metropolis' B3 global local currency deposit rating.

The agency also said it noted that seniority was taken into consideration in the assignment of the debt ratings.
