Metromedia Steakhouses looks to increase financing to $4.52 million

Pittsburgh, May 28 - Metromedia Steakhouses Co. LP requested court approval to amend its debtor-in-possession financing order to increase the total commitment by $250,000 to $4.52 million, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The additional financing must be used only in the four-week period ended June 30 in accordance with a budget.

Metromedia is a steakhouse company based in Plano, Texas, that operates restaurants under the names Ponderosa Steakhouse and Bonanza Steakhouse. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 22, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-12490.
