S&P may up Metals USA

Standard & Poor's said it placed the CCC+ corporate credit ratings on Metals USA Holdings and its wholly owned subsidiary Metals USA Inc. on CreditWatch with positive implications.

The CreditWatch listing reflects improving near-term operating performance due to increased end market demand, resulting in higher pricing and volumes sold, according to the agency.
