China’s Metallurgical plans RMB 44 billion bonds for 2016, early 2017

Morgantown, W.Va., April 5 – Metallurgical Corp. of China Ltd. said it will register to issue up to RMB 44 billion of domestic bonds for 2016 and the first half of 2017.

The company is planning to issue RMB 10 billion of mid-term notes or corporate bonds, RMB 12 billion of perpetual mid-term notes and RMB 22 billion of ultra short-term financing bills.

The company said its board of directors has approved the issuance. The bonds are still subject to shareholders’ approval.

The Beijing-based company operates in engineering, procurement and construction for metallurgical facilities, natural resources exploration, equipment fabrication and property development.
