China's Metallurgical board gives go-ahead to sell RMB 14.9 billion notes, RMB 14.4 billion bills

Chicago, Sept. 10 - Metallurgical Corp. of China Ltd. said its directors and board approved issuing RMB 14.9 billion of medium-term notes and RMB 14.4 billion of short-term financing bills.

The registered amount will be effective for two years from the date of issue, according to a company press release.

The company may issue the notes and bills in tranches, and issuance of the first tranche will be completed within two months after the registration.

The joint lead underwriters for the notes are Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. and Agricultural Bank of China Ltd.

The joint lead underwriters for the bills are Citic Securities Co., Ltd. and China Citic Bank Corp. Ltd.

The company said it received a notice of registration acceptance from the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors.

Metallurgical is a Beijing engineering contracting, resource development, equipment manufacturing and property development company.
