Mesaba ordered to submit monthly operating reports within 25 days of reporting month

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, July 12 - Mesaba Aviation Inc. must submit all monthly operating reports to its U.S. Trustee no more than 25 days after the end of the month being reported, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.

The order was made in response to the U.S. Trustee's motion to force the company to submit its operating reports for April and May.

In that motion, the U.S. Trustee said failure to submit the operating reports denies creditors and the U. S Trustee the ability to monitor the company's post-bankruptcy operations, including losses and accrued liabilities.

Mesaba, an Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest Airlines affiliate, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 13, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-39258.
