Mesa Air Group records $1.59 million of operating income for March

Pittsburgh, April 28 - Mesa Air Group, Inc. reported $1.59 million of operating income for March on $73.14 million of total revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The figures showed improvement over the $1.37 million of operating income posted for February on $65.92 million in total revenues.
The net loss for March was $2.33 million, widening from a $246,000 February net loss.
Mesa had $54.11 million in cash and cash equivalents at March 31, down from $78.71 million at the end of February.
Mesa Air, a Phoenix-based provider of passenger and airfreight services, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 5. The Chapter 11 case number is 10-10018.
